FAMILIES AT SHEDFEST

BRING THE FAMILY TO SHEDFEST 2026!

ShedFest is family-friendly, and not just on paper. This year the family area is your base to slow things down between the action, keep the kids entertained, and ensure everyone has a great day.

You will find DadCars bringing the message that having kids does not mean giving up on cool cars, with talks and family-focused activities that help bring the next generation into the scene. You have also got the Parent Pit Stop by The Wild Tribe, a calm, cosy reset zone with proper feeding and nappy-changing facilities, plus hands-on activities like car-themed colouring and craft, and mini dens for little ones.

Add in bubble displays, treasure-hunt style activities and other drop-in fun, and you have got a proper family day out. Kids stay busy. Parents stay sane. Everyone gets to enjoy the cars.

FAMILY FUN

BACK for 2026, dadcars!

Ben from DadCars is on a mission to prove you don't have to swap your V8 for a crossover just because you have kids. At ShedFest, he brings that energy to the show with family-friendly talks and a dedicated space designed to help parents enjoy the day while championing the idea that kids belong in car culture too.

A place to pull in and reset

Days out can be full-on, so this is the place to pull in and reset. The Parent Pit Stop by The Wild Tribe is a cosy, calm corner with a proper feeding and nappy-changing setup, and a few thoughtful bits to keep little ones happy.

Kids can dive into mini cardboard “dens” with chalk and a car-themed colouring and craft station, while you take five minutes and plan your next lap of the show.

a proper family day out

ShedFest is a proper family day out, not just a car meet with kids dragged along. Alongside the cars you will find loads of easy, drop-in fun for little ones like bubble displays, treasure-hunt style activities, and colouring and crafts, so there is always something to keep them busy between exploring the show.

Let the kids drive

It's time for the kids to take the driving seat! Mini rovers gives young adventurers the chance to tackle an exciting off-road adventure on our fully mobile obstacle course. Children aged 4-10 can drive their own mini Land Rover Defender, and take on a range of fun, chellenging obstacles.

Children aged 4-5 or any child that might need extra support must be supervised on foot by a responsible adult.

FAMILY FAQS

Is Shedfest suitable for families?

Yes! There’s a dedicated family area with activities designed for younger children, plus spaces where you can slow things down if you need a break.

What is there for kids to do?

Bubble displays, treasure-hunt style activities, and a car-themed colouring and craft station, plus other family-friendly activities throughout the day. For older children, there will be funfair rides, a gaming zone and of course plenty of cool cars to see!

Is there anywhere to feed a baby or change nappies?

Yes. The Parent Pit Stop includes a proper feeding and nappy-changing setup so you’re not doing it awkwardly on the go.

What if my child gets overwhelmed or needs a quieter space?

We have an SEN tent focused on children that parents and children can use. It’s there specifically to give families a quieter option if the day gets a bit much.

Can I bring a pram or pushchair?

Yes. Just bear in mind it’s an outdoor event environment, so a sturdy pushchair is a better bet than something with tiny wheels.
