Accessibility

Is ShedFest accessible for wheelchair users?

ShedFest takes place across a large outdoor estate. Some areas are on hard standing, including key display zones. Other areas, including car parking and parts of the showground, are on grass.

Please note that grass surfaces may become uneven or soft in wet weather. We strongly recommend suitable mobility equipment designed for outdoor terrain.

If you have specific access requirements, contact us in advance via our contact page so we can advise.

Is there accessible parking?

Yes. We provide designated accessible parking close to the main entrance.

Accessible parking is available for Blue Badge holders. You must display a valid Blue Badge on arrival. Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Are there accessible toilets?

Yes. Accessible toilet facilities will be available on site.

Toilet locations will be clearly marked on the event map and signposted throughout the showground.

Can I bring a mobility scooter?

Yes. Mobility scooters and powered wheelchairs are permitted.

The site is large and includes grass areas. Please ensure your equipment is suitable for outdoor terrain.

For safety reasons, we ask that mobility scooters are operated at walking pace in busy pedestrian areas.

Is there seating available?

There will be informal seating in food areas and around the site. However, ShedFest is a festival-style event and seating is limited.

If you require guaranteed seating for medical reasons, please contact us in advance.

You are welcome to bring a folding chair for personal use.

Is there a quiet or SEN space available?

We provide a dedicated SEN space on site for guests who may need a calmer environment during the event.

ShedFest is a live automotive show with vehicle movement, commentary and PA systems. Noise levels can be high in certain areas. The SEN space is a clearly designated area away from main stages and active zones where visitors can take a break in a lower stimulation environment.

The location will be clearly marked on the event map and signposted on the day.

If you or someone in your group may benefit from using this space, you are welcome to do so at any time during the event.

Are carers entitled to a free ticket?

Yes. We offer a complimentary ticket for an essential carer accompanying a paying guest who requires assistance.

Carer tickets must be arranged in advance and cannot be issued on the gate.

Please get in touch with us via our contact page for more information.
